Hosted at Ikeja Golf Club, one of Nigeria’s leading golf venues, the championship will bring together talented young golfers from across the country for a competitive week of junior golf.
The introduction of the Faldo Junior Tour in Nigeria forms part of the Faldo Series’ continued commitment to developing junior golf throughout the Middle East and Africa. Through a growing schedule of events, the Faldo Series aims to provide young players with increased opportunities to compete, gain valuable tournament experience and measure themselves against some of the best junior golfers in their region.
The inaugural Faldo GolfView Junior Golf Championship represents the beginning of what the Faldo Series hopes will be a long-term presence in Nigeria, helping to create a pathway for the country’s emerging junior golfers to progress both nationally and internationally.
The event was made possible through the support of GolfView Suites & Conference Centre Nigeria and Ikeja Golf Club, alongside the wider Faldo Series network, with the championship providing an exciting platform for the next generation of Nigerian golfers.
With Nigeria now joining the growing list of countries hosting Faldo Series events, the inaugural Faldo GolfView Junior Golf Championship is an important first step in developing the Faldo Junior Tour across the country.
The Faldo Series looks forward to building on the success of the inaugural championship and continuing to provide young golfers in Nigeria with opportunities to compete, develop and pursue their ambitions in the game.
