How it Works
Players – 7-12 year olds
Played as a 9 hole competition over shortened courses, the qualifiers are designed to attract as many children as possible to come and participate. Where as the winners will qualify for Regional Finals.
Qualifying Events
Take place at local golf clubs throughout the UK with the top 2 players from each division qualifying for the Regional Finals.
Regional Finals
Staged at selected venues across GB&I, where winners of the allocated invitations qualify for the Faldo Futures Final.
Faldo Futures Final
Takes place at The Belfry during the British Masters, hosted by Sir Nick Faldo.

Qualifying Events
The 2025 Faldo Futures Qualifying Events saw more than 2,000 juniors compete at over 100 clubs across 5 countries during the Easter holidays. The top 2 players in each division, plus ties, booked their place in the Regional Finals, hosted at 11 selected venues across GB&I.
Any golf club in GB&I can get involved by hosting a qualifying event — simply register your details to join the journey.
Regional Finals
In 2026 we are pleased to say we are growing our Regional Finals to 14 venues across GB&I. Winners of the allocated qualifying spots at each venue will earn their invitation to the Faldo Futures Final on the 26th and 27th August at The Belfry GC. Faldo Futures Final
Hosted by Sir Nick, the 2025 Faldo Futures Final saw just over 220 young golfers compete over two exciting days at The Belfry. The field featured players from nine different countries and ran alongside the DP World Tour’s British Masters. Winners of each age division earned an invitation to the 2026 IMG Junior World Championship in California, USA.
2026 Faldo Futures Qualifying Events
Who is it for
For All Boys and Girls between 7 – 12 years of age
Age Categories: 7- 8 Year Olds, 9 – 10 Year olds, 11 – 12 Year olds (separated Boys and Girls)
No handicap requirements!
Tournament Dates
- Qualifiers: Take place between Saturday 28 March - Monday 4 May 2026
- Regional Finals: During the May half-term and selected weekends in June & July
- Faldo Futures Final: The week of the British Masters
Faldo Grant
We want all clubs and young players to participate. To facilitate this The Faldo Grant is available to those clubs or players who want to participate but financial constraints prevent this from being a possibility.
How To Apply: Draft an email detailing your application to series@nickfaldo.com. Please state the reason and how you would wish to use this grant.
All applications will be taken on their merits, and those successful in 2026 will be contacted with the level of assistance that can be offered.
