Some of the standout moments from the qualifiers included 8-year-old Oscar Ross recording his first hole-in-one at the Chesfield Downs qualifier, Bartarya Selina in the girls 11-12 division at Nizels Golf & Country Club posting four birdies and an eagle for a round of -3 (35), Scout Wilson-Bonner winning the girls 11-12 division at Formby Hall with an amazing score of -7 (29), Faldo Futures ambassador Zachary Blainey shooting an even-par 31 in difficult conditions at The Essex Golf & Country Club, and Oliver Smith winning the boys 9-10 division at Stevenage Golf & Conference Centre with a score of -2 (25).
With the qualifiers now complete, attention turns to the Regional Finals. A total of 355 golfers are confirmed to compete at six venues across the UK, including Matfen Hall, The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club, Worsley Park, Cumberwell Park, Sunningdale Heath, and Brocket Hall Estate. These regional finals promise to be highly competitive, as the top young golfers from the qualifiers will compete for a spot in the Faldo Futures National Final held at The Belfry, the week of the British Masters.
